I research the heck out of clothing because if I am dry,warm and comfortable I will be able to focus my entire attention on hunting and not shivering or leaving because of discomfort.There are basics that are a given,properly tuned bow with arrows that fly perfectly,good quality broadheads,tree stands,safety harness's ,rangefinders.All things that increase confidence and as a result proficiency.
I think something of importance is exercise equipment,depnding upon what part of the country your physical conditioning may play a big part in your success.
Brand names on clothing items that I would recommend without hesitation are any thing smart wool,socks long underwear,Ulfrotte long underwear,Brynje's long underwear,Patagonia Capiline long underwear,micropuff pull over and micropuff pants,sitka gear,Enigma camo products,Grey Wolf Woolens products,Ice Breaker hand muff and Boot Blankets,Danner Boots,Schnee's boots.All accumulated over time and have met my test's for quality and ruggedness.

i would have to say...my girlfried!
its not like i need any further encouragement to get into the woods, but when i start feeling guilty and think about maybe taking a weekend off, i starting hearing her voice and the never-ending boring stories... cant get the dodge fired up quick enough!
more time in field = greater success
