I'm getting a couple of new climbers and probably going to buy the DXT. Not sure about that yet because I will have a hard time retiering my Switchback. You see guys come on here saying how good their bows are but get rid of them the next season when the NEW BEST BOW EVER comes out. The Switchback is the best Hunting bow I have owned so far but I like the size of the DXT for climbing stands. Will see, I'll prpbably just keep that junk Switchback another year.
I have a switchback and theONLY thing that i do not like about it is the thick grip on it. Wish I couldkeep it and have more than one bow but I gottakeep the wifehappy.

My own archery workshop!!!

To be honest, I have no idea what I'll be hunting with this upcoming year, doesn't really matter to me to be honest. I'll be shooting a different bow for 3D though I'd imagine.

I ordered a new Marquis the other day!! Buying new sights I'm going with the sword acu-site Apex Micro 3d plane not sure if I'm getting the .010 or the .019 pins. Getting a new rest thinking of getting either the quicktune 360 or the hostage. Can't wait to shoot my new rig!

2008 Elite GTO
28.5" draw 60#limbs
"Ninja" all black

and the accessories

Spott Hogg Hogg-It .010" w/ wrap
Limbdriver Pro black
Fuse Axium 10" black
Victory HV arrows

Was considering an Elite until I read somewhere that camo is a REAL issue with them. Is that why you went black?

I'll make my wife happy and keep my Tribby for another year. Perhaps next season I'll be able to pick up a reasonable used Guardian or General.

I've not heard of any camo issues, and in fact, I think the camo finish on the Elite is THE finest finish in the industry. They are SHARP looking bows. According to our rep, they powder coat the riser before dipping it, giving it an incredibly smooth finish. It really is sweet looking.

But the black riser is 50 bucks cheaper, and looks really cool as well.

Yeah the camo looks awesome, but hey, EVERYONE has a camo bow

An ALL black bow isn't as common, and it looks cool

I just put a contract on 84 acres of prime whitetail hunting ground in Jersey County, IL this afternoon. That's probably all I'll be able to afford this year.
