Lone Wolf Alpha tree stand w climbing sticks! Simply the best piece of gear I have bought since my Bowtech! I have 2 climbers and used them once in 3 years that I've owned the Lone Wolf. Super lightweight and simple to hang!

There are several, mostly clothing related.Patagonia micro puff pullover, the lightest warmest compressible piece I have ever seen, smart wool or Ulfrotte long underwear,Enigma jacket and pants, unbelievable how soft the fabric becomes with washing,Danner Canadian boots,Icebreaker hand muff with acouple of handwarmers in it nothing will keep your hands warmer.
I still have an old Bushnell rangefinder that doesn't owe me a dime and has helped me immensely.I am sure there are others.

mmmmmm... GMMAT's oponion of worst piece of equip:

Everyone has their opinion.....and mine is the Lone Wolf Alpha stand and climbing sticks as a hunt right away set-up.

I used mine exactly twice....and could never figure out a way to hang it safely.....timely....or energy efficiently (without working up a big sweat). I MUCH prefer a climber (Summit Vipers) to this set-up....and I was terribly disappointed in the system.

I'll vote for the muff. Has saved a lot of frost bitten fingers.

It's a personal preferece, Aaron. I can understand how some would love the setup. For a multiple stand setup.....where a hunter would have extra straps hung on several trees....and to leave the steps up....I think it would be great.

For ME....to set it up and use it, right then....I hated it. It's just an opinion. It's a well-made product....and a lot of people love it.
