What makes your experience speak for the state and not theirs?


Why do you assume you are the only person/hunter in PA who uses all those sources to shape their opinion??

You are saying..........without even knowing or having spoken to a single person I had conversations with........that they are not as well informed as you??

Whatam I supposed to think Rob?? 50+ guys Isat with all told me the same thing..........you are telling me the opposite.........should I justtoss out what they are saying because you disagree?

I'm not speaking for just part of the state I hunt, nor just the Alleghany Forest. Are they telling you they've watched the media and witnessed all the incredible bucks being taken across the state on public landand then saying it isn't so? Are those you speak of speaking for the entire state or just what they've seen in their haunts. I think that answer is quite clear by the masses and the bucks that this state is taking on public land.

Never assumed nothing of the sort but if any of the 50 you speak of would have, they would have told you a different outcome. I'm sure what you encountered is a PGC bashing party. It's quite evident our deer numbers are down and they are probably very unhappy with their sightings however, I'm speaking specifically about you telling nvshooter what the real truth is.

And you are saying that I am wrong based solely on hear say of a minority rather than basing your opinion on facts that you could clearly investigate as I have.

Had I been privy to those conversations I would have told them they are biased based on that area and not speaking for what I've seen in this state as whole and now my question is, are you refering to HR or AR?

Nope, not because I disagree but because the truth from across the state says otherwise. Perhaps you should do some investigation rather than tell someone else they should come here to find the real truth based solely on the hear say of your 50+ minority.

He did the EXACT same thing as me (posting his buck well after he killed it) and not only did you and Jeff not say a word aboutit............you had nothing but praise for him. When I did it you twomade itseem like I did something wrong..........the ensuing melt down and short trip down martyr lane in the contestforum along with the "new rules" made it obvious that this bothered you deeply (or so one would think)........yet antler eater posts aweeks old kill in the middle of December full of green foliage and sunshine and youguys have nothing but goodthings to say.

I like you Rob.............I have since I started posting here........but what you did was wrong in a BIG way. You KNOW I did nothing wrong and yet you let your personal feelings and relationship with Jeff cloud your judgement. I would NEVER have publically questioned your integrity/honesty.........never. I have more respect for you as a person then that. Unfortunately, you did not pay me the same curtesy. I have had more disagreements with people on this board including you then I can ever remember and I'm sure many people here would call me many things and some are surely true...........dishonest is not one of them.

Again Drop...........I have never encountered this even one time in 20 years. The guys I see with deer in their truck are thrilled, no matter what it looks like. I've never seen a guy with a spiker in his truck complain because their are no bigger bucks out there. Some people are just happy to get a deer. Why is that so hard for some to grasp??
