With snow we had and then the ice ontop of it, the deer are pretty stressed as its hard for them to get down to the food. Id say some are dropping early this year because off the stress.

He sure will be bigger next year. He also has a little start of a drop tine that will hopefully be there next year, but bigger. I'll be looking hard for the other side. Sure would love to find it, then kill him next year! Thats what dreams are made of!

I wish I could grow a beard like that.

PS - Congrats on the find! Although the season is still open here and I'm hoping to get a shot at another buck, I'm already planning out my shed hunting season. I can't wait! I even bought a new pair of hiking boots just for shed hunting this year.
