Drop, what truck you drive? I guess the newer Ford moved their tranny coolers, I drive GMC Sierra 2500 HD so I don't know much about the newer Fords. But for some reason, I am thinking the older ones had the tranny cooler located where that doe'srump is stuffed.

Yeah, that was my thought. After hearing she got into the accident and fine, I was hoping the deer didn't suffer much.

So did you have to come pull it out of there or did she do it? On a side note, did she not look in her mirrorand why didnt shestop to check the damage?

I don't work withher. If I did, I definitely would have helped her pull it out. I really don't know what she was thinking. She figured it couldn't have done much w/ the brush guards and she thought she just tagged it. Instead, she hit it front on and well...you saw the unfortunate outcome.

Looks like the backstraps may have been salvageable.

Got this pic in an email today, this thread reminds me of it. (sorry if it is to nasty)The email says it is a deer that got hit at a high rate of speed.

Ouch! All i can see is some fur stuffed in the engine! I wouldn't want to be those deer!
