with a compound, you don't have to shoot it much to be super accurate - once every few weeks is fine. In fact, I can pick up a compound 2 years from having shot it last and be very accurate with it = they're designed to be that way

I shot my recurve last night.
My compound wasbefore this last snow we had. 1.5 - 2 weeks.

I shoot everyday at least 20-25 arrows a day....It helps when you have a 20yard range in your basement

The bow be designed that way, but you aren't. As the weather gets colder we add layers which can change anchor points and shooting form.And things on the bow may get bumped or moved during the season too.

We owe it to the game we hunt to know our equipment and our ability is on target.
