Neither. The choices have nothing to do with ethics IMO> Whether you hunt for meat, head gear or because you collect deer hooves has nothing to do with ethics. Ethics gets involved in how you go about what your hunting.

target ANY female deer.....for the sake of herd mgmt. Period.
I target specific criteria in bucks....because I want to.
I eat or donate every animal I kill. So there are no ethical conundrums in what I do.
