I probably would have died without them. I got up my first morning and it was -24 with a 20 mph wind. The high that day was a balmy -4, without the wind. 2 hours into the hunt, my neck gaitor was frozen solid from breathing through it. I had to tuck a fleece hat between it and my face to keep from cutting myself or getting frost bite.

Its kinda warm here...I hope it cools off for the late bow season.....[8D]

I bet you come out of winter retirement if a big one starts poking around that trail cam. I dont hold up as well in this weather as I did when I was young, I look like the little kid on christmas story when I go hunting now.

Great picture and buck Dan.

2nd the pansy !! [8D]

When your bow is frosted to your glove after a hunt,it is cold.

When your hunting bibs can stand up by themselves after a hunt from plowing though knee high plus snow, it is cold.

When it takes 10 minutes to defrost your ice mustache once you get home, it is cold.

When the day time highs are 15 below it is cold.

Add wind and no trees to get out of it... it is fricking cold.

If none ofyour conditionswere worse then these, you should be hunting, not quitting!!

Yesterday morning was 20 below. I would have been hunting but the wife twisted my arm into going Xmas shopping. After an hour of Xmas shopping, I wished I would have wenthunting instead !!! Frost bite would have been less painful. [:'(] Next year it is gift cards and they can pick their own darn presents out !! I am not going through another... " Do you think they will like this ?? "X a million only to be answered by a... " I don't know dear ". [&:] [:@]

Opps... Sorry about getting off topic. Now what were you whining about ??
