The new Gel Super Glue is some pretty awesome stuff, Rob...

LOL... adds character, and gives it even more of meaning for the family.
Picture bud, picture!

Alright, in case you guys don't go to the Offseason to check it out.

And Jeff, I love the little antler ornament you took a picture of.

I hope everyone is getting ready for Christmas or at least your personal holiday.

My wife, pup and I headed out today for our annual Christmas tree run. It was a nice day. I've been getting my tree from the same guy for about 15 years now. Trees went up slightly, $20 for any tree on the farm. We go for the biggest one we can handle safely. This year it looks to be around a 9'er. We've gone as tall as 12' but it was much skinner. The guy is running out of nice tall trees.

It pretty much filled up the back of the Titan. I had to stop once and put it back in the truck. But we got it home, in the door with a little grunt and arguing.

We go with a cabin/log home/ outdoor decorating theme on the tree every year. It's taken alot of years of finding and purchasing to find all the right decor for the tree.

Of course, what is a bowhunter enthusiast's tree without some antlers and some arrows.

My gorgeous wife finishing up some holes in the tree.

I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable holiday season. Merry Christmas and remember the reason for the season.

Lets see your tree!

I knew you'd say that... I was just too lazy to go upstairs, take the pic and then have to upload it to photobucket..

I love that Greg, where on Earth did you find that one. I'd superglue it too....did you see in my other thread where we lost some when the tree fell last year. They were mere powder at that point.[&:]

Rob,

That's the worst feeling in the world. Put all that work in and boom, it just topples right over. Seems to do it in slow motion too, but just fast enough that you can't catch or do a darned thing about it.

Had it happen the first year we moved into the new house. When you get a bigger house, along with that comes a bigger tree. Turns out, you should also buy a bigger stand to put the bigger tree in. Doh! :bagonhead:

Rob, I can't remember where I found that one... I do know that it was so unique that when I saw it I had to buy it!

I guess some people have to learn the hard way....don't put a tree stand up in the Christmas tree!
