Three. One is for a good day, two is for a bad day, three is for when I should have never used number one. Have used number 2 twice and number 3 once in sixteen years.

I only bring 3, I figure if miss with the first 2 I'll use the last one to put myself out of misery.

Same as Fraley for me, the field point/squirrel arrow only gets shot at the end of my hunting session when I've not seen anything. When I do make contact (Witha squirrel)...makes for a good lunch before I go back out.

Last year I shot that buck in my picture there with my third arrow. Missed 2 does within 5 minutes and he came 5 min later down the same trail. Shot him at 4 yards away with my last arrow. How lucky can that be?

3 I have never used more than 2 and that was on a spine shot.

Oh, and once I flat missed a doe and she just stood there, I nocked another arrow and shot her.

I have a hip quiver that holds 8 arrows. 2 of which have practice heads on them.

I take three with my compound. My recurves, I have one in the bow and another in my hand. Only take two.

3 - You can only kill two a day in Ohio, so actually the third arrow is overkill. Make one shot count! If I need more than 3, I really need to be shooting at a target instead of sitting in a tree.

My quiver holds 4. I have shot ONE deer with two arrows, once. ONE deer with 3 arrows, once. And I shot at my 11/6/07 buck with all 4....hitting him 3 times.

I shoot until they are out of range or dead.

It differs for me depending on thebow.This year I'm shooting aMathews and it has a 5 arrow quiver, so that's how many I take with me.:)

I take as many as my quiver will hold, which is five. If my quiver could hold a dozen I would take a dozen. I like to shoot at squirrels, but I have missed many times in a row at the same deer.

A full qiuver looks cool w/ the wraps and fletching.

I said 4 because that's what I carry. If I go away from home or out of state for a few days I take at least a dozen but usually 18 with me.

Used to have a 6 arrow quiver. 6 was overkill.

Now I have a 4 arrow quiver. Still more than I need, but that's okay.

I started outcarrying 6 one broke in half in a deer. Another the blades broke off in a deer. So now I use 4. when something happens to them then I'll buy some different arrows and I'm thinking of try rage broadheads.

A funny story. I had a guy come in to the shop one time and he told me he was looking for a new quiver, and I showed him 2 or 3 I had in stock. He looked at them a while and then said Nah!! I don't think I need one I've only got 2 arrows I think I'll just keep carrying them in[8D]

Needless to say he wasn't a big spending customer. I think a dozen arrows lasted him about 15 years, well I did have to refletch a few as the vanes just kind of dry rotted;)
