How far do you commute to go hunting?

I hope to change this for the upcoming season so that I'm not away from homequite somuch, but right now my closest place is almost 2 hours from home.
Jawshooter's (Dan) place is roughly 100 miles each way from my house, and my property in PA is about 225 miles each way..........so I put on a LOT of miles each season. When seasons are open in both NY and PA we typically leave just after work on Friday night, head to PA and hunt Saturday morning and evening, then pack up the car and head to his place Saturday night and hunt all day on Sunday.....then head back home and do it all over again the following weekend. We've made 9 of these trips so far this year and I will have 14 of them total by time we are done in PA for the late season. This of course doesn't include all the trips in the offseason for food plots, turkey hunting, general work around camp, etc.......
I did well over 15,000 miles for hunting/foodplots/camp related stuff in 2006 and will probably end up doing more than that this year. [&:]

12 minutes from my driveway to the parking spot. It was 8 minutes but then I started hunting an archery-only area down the road a ways.
I have a few other hunting areas that I can frequent but, at best, I might hit them 1-2 times a year. They are about 20-25 minutes away.
FWIW, I bought my house because of where I hunt and actually plan to move closer when we get our "final house" in 3 years.

Too far!
I have a few spots within 7 minutes... some within 25 mins... but most weekends I will head about 5+ hours away in search of better and bigger deer.
And sometimes I will go over 7 hours to go hunting.... it just depends on the year and the season.
