Try playing around in here. http://home.att.net/~sajackson/archery2.html
You should be able to calculate your speed in there some where. Theres also the Archery Program out there some where. You'd have to do a search for it or wait til he replies.

well lets say your arrow is going say 225fps then ke would be 78#s ke if arrow is going say 210fps then ke would be 69#s ke
& if arrow is going say 300fps ke would be 140# ke <img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>

Wow - 700 grains at 70# with a 31 inch draw - HUGE penetration potential with that arrow out of that bow.
The newest fastest bows are in the 75+ range with light arrows, 70#, 30 inch. Say you start out a little less than that. Add 10% for the fact that the heavier arrow is better at sucking energy out of the bow. Then for the draw length, assume that that extra inch is at the flat spot of the draw so 70 / 12 is about 6 of which you get about what, 80% transferred to the arrow? So 70 + 5 + 7 would be 82. I'd guess just over 80 ft lbs of KE if I had to pick a number.
The biggest guess here is the 70 -> this assumes that the Ultra Force is pretty new with pretty short brace height and pretty hard cams.
The last Bowhunter talks about Chuck Adams hunting Bison. He says he uses a relatively heavy arrow - 667 grains - for the penetration he needs on a big animal. (and out of a big bow, 70#, of course)

I chrony'd my UF before I sold it.
It had the MX1 cam and the split limbs set at 68#, 27.5" draw length, and a 380 gr arrow. The speed was 254 fps. This is 54 ft-lbs of ke. A 700 gr arrow wouldn't add much to that number. Penetration is a somewhat different issue. The HCA stated IBO on the UF Split MX1 was 313. However, HCA must have been stretching the truth, because my Martin Altitude shoots about the same speed at the same weight and draw length, with the same arrow and Martin says the Altitude's IBO is 301.
