I agree,
I haven't seen many shows that remind me of real hunters. I don't know anyone who hunts places where they see deer every time they go, and hunt with the newest high tech equipment whether it works or not, and end up getting a dozen big bucks every year in several different states.

"Hey ya'll, watch this"

My Husband and I watched this morning and OH JEEZE WE WERE LAUGHING OUT LOUD. My Husband called this Lady the Ringmaster of Bowhunting Clowns.
But seriously I guess it wasnt really anything to be laughing about.
It was unreal, she could barely pull the bow back, if she arched her back anymore pulling back that bow I think she would of ended up doing a back bend, I kept thinking any second Im gonna hear the poor lady cry out in pain as the camera picks up the sound of one of her muscles or tendons tearing. It would take a whole lot more than a whisker Bisquit to right the # of wrong done in this one hunt.
Im not perfect but jeeze I make sure I can at least pull back my bow pounadage and hold it there for one minute before I attempt to hunt with a bow, and this is done in respect for the animals I hunt and to help and insure the sucess of my hunt AND PROPER SHOT PLACEMENT, although I am not perfect in this either.
The final insult to add to injury was at the show finaly when the Host was congratulating the ladies for a fine and sucessful hunt.
Ive never seen anything like it before and I pray I never will again.
As for all the makeup and jewelry I see some women wearing when hunting just like in this hunt were wearing, their time might be better spent on Bow tunning and practicing on the target range than in the makeup room.
Like I always say, I MUST OF BEEN WAXING MY BOW STRING WHEN IT WAS MAKEUP TIME.

Lady Forge,

Do you still hunt? My wife sees twice the deer that I do when we still hunt - I think it's one place where smaller is much better.

Ridiculous!! I didn't see that one thank God, but they are getting insane. Doesnt' send a good message to newbies. Just bring whatever equipment out there, make as much noise as you want, hit the deer wherever it doesn't matter, and practice??? Heck who needs that it's only a bow. I don't understand why these shows don't try their hardest to give the viewer the real thing. We're the ones keeping them on the air!! I suppose they are attempting to be politically correct like you said David. The worst part of this whole thing is I'll never be on one cause I'm butt ugly!!!

Unbelieveable! I did not see this show so I appreciate the description. Can somebody verify if it was the Gregory's again.

It makes one question how gullible they think we are.

Was she wearing a bikini? Just wondering, you know what they say, "sex sells".

I did not see the show. WHY did she not realize the bow was to big for her when she practiced with it many times. Then maybe She never practiced? I seen a show something like that with the Gregorys Wife last year,But she had the flu and was very sick. Was that the same show?

No Cardeer, I'm pretty sure it was not the show you were talking about. I missed the very beginning of her hunt, with the rattling sequence, but I never heard any complaints of anyone being sick. The sick thing was watching her pull back that bow. I just cringed when I saw her struggling to get it all the way back.
I'm pretty sure it was Tammi Gregory. And I've seen her shoot before where she didn't have a problem. And I've seen Jay do hunts that are fabolous. I really dont' know the reason behind the circus she put on in this show.
