Default Here's how my hunt with... what a pig?

After seeing nothing the first three hours... I ended up having a good evening seeing 4 does and 2bucks (one 8 and 1 four)... I had this 8 come in at 13 yards but he's a 2.5 year old (we would like him to make it to next year) here's a pic of him... btw all came into the food plot and ignored the feeder. THe food plot is about an acre or so... again here's the pic...

The other good news is the food plots are starting to come in much better since we got some rain (its not just dirt lol).

but here's the pig I didnt see but hope too before the season is over....

Here's where I was:

thats a nice deer now and will be a even better deer next year, we need a lot more rain for our food plots. most people's plots round here dried up with the lack of rain

nice deer indeed..... it seems that you are feeding a huge amount of corn..... you might want to back off on that timer a bit.... with that much corn they can come out whenever they want (night).... try about six seconds and you should be able to pattern them a bit better.... 'corse thats my unsolisted opinion.... its your call.....

Ares did as well but we overseeded and the seeds that didnt come up the first time are comming up again. We are expected to have a warmer than average Decemeber (we havent even had a feeze yet) I hope the food plots continue to grow to pay dividends in two weeks or so.

We turned it down....lol... its all gone now... we have pigs too. The acorns and food plots are getting more action than the feeders are. Thanks.
