A farmer that lets us hunt his property begged me to shoot deer at night for him. His apples were being eaten by the large population of deer. I just couldn't bring myself to do it. I didn't think it was right so I just told him to give me a couple of tags and I would see what I could do. He had land management tags that allow night shooting of does only. I didn't want to let him down by saying no so I just took the tags and never filled them. I see no sport or enjoyment of shooting a deer at night with a spotlight.
