Default Honest evaluation: Gibblet Strings

I know Gibblet's a member (and, I think, a fellow NC'er)....and I know he makes a good product.

2 Questions:

1) Does he make cables, too?

2) How does his product(s) stack up with Winner's Choice?

Thanks.

yep, cables too Jeff.

cant say anything in regaurds to winner choice, but i know ive had mine since...july? and put somewhere between 500 and 1000 shots on it thus far and NOTHING moved or creeped at all...never had to adjust anything...still pulls the same wieght, peep twists true...serving looks better than my factory one did...im VERY pleased with it...BTW, strings and cables were made in 452x...

and, you really cant touch a 452x string of that quality for that price...look at prices of vapor trail, winners choice etc...ive never read a BAD review....i know all my future bows will have them put on pronto...puts factory strings to shame

Yes he makes cables and strings.

We sell WC, VT, Stone Mountain, and Barracuda strings through the shop. Whenever a customer I work with personally needs a string/cable, I order from John. They have caused me less problems and headaches than any string made by any bow manufacturer (I've owned most, and worked with them all), or any string specific company as well. I can get whatever string I wantthrough a shop discount at approximately the same price, but I prefer to work with Gibblets stuff.Afterworking with probably 2x dozen sets,........I think I can give an honest evaluation of them.

On top of all this, any time I've had an issue (way less times than any other string source) if I ever needed something it was taken care of just as fast as any service I've ever recieved. I believe the quality of your string/cable is MUCH more important than what brand or model of bow you shoot. Just my opinion..........

I'd also recommend if going w/ John's stuff using 452x cables and strings, with BCY Halo serving material. This stuff is indestructible and to my knowledge Gibblet is still the only one using Halo. I've personally gotten 10,000+ shots out of an A7 with his halo serving, and these cams eat cables faster than anything I've seen.

I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the string/cables that came on my Patriot. Having said that, my replacement set will be ordered from Gibblet. I really like the idea of a custom set on my bow.

I loved the Set on Mightymite! They had very little wear after 2/3 seasons of use. That including hunting, tons of 3d shoots and leagues. They had a lot of shots through them and still looked great! I'm definitely putting another set of Gibblet strings on my Guardian! Plus you can pick some pretty cool colors to make your bow look even better.
