This year I bought one of those CSI style flash lights, you know the ones that show blood at night. I would probly work if there was no dew on the ground, it reflects all moisture. Oh well the kids got a new flash light.

Most usless item purchased: Electric socks. Try lugging around socks that each require a D cell battery![:'(]

Do you think those socks will stay up without duct tape!!??[:-]

Well I will take some video, and hey I have mock scrapes bucks have been using for 15+ years. I have been reading about a MI hunter who works his mockscrape lines all year pretty much. I am going to do so this year. Going to buy a scrape dripper, it may make the list next year:D I used the leg once then throw it away.

Buck/doe pee. Might as well take your money and bury it. Buy something to pour out on the ground.....That's interesting...

I posted this up a couple months ago. I don't remember exactly what the name of it is, but it's actually a deer repellant...their marketing strategy is this...

Leave a 30 yard circle, with your stand being the center of that circle, free of this stuff. Then form an X off of that. They say the deer will hit one line of the X, be repelled back where they came from, hit another line of the X, bounce back to the first one.....and just like a magical ping pong ball be right in front of your stand, in range.....wow. I swear I'm not making that up either.

I fess up to buying one of those cough silencers. I had a bad cold right before 3 days of hunting
and was trying to do something. I felt like an idiot coughing in to that nasty thing for a couple days.
I'm thinking that a slightly used cough silencer on Ebay would be a hot ticket. ;)

I bought a buck bomb cause it was on sale for $2.99. At $8.99 for a onetime use, with all the
noise and all, I think they are a waste. I wasn't thinking when I set it off and due to a cross wind
some got some on me. I smelled like a hot doe all day - but luckily I didn't run into Germ and his deer leg. :D

So far this year it is a toss up between the montana deer decoy II ,the illinios archery deer tag, the Pa.deer tag or the unused montana deer tag.
