Wow, I've been bowhunting nearly 20 years looking for a buck like that. Hopefully that luck will continue for you.

Been bowhunting 10 years and still waiting to see a buck of that caliber! I'm guessing it won't be for another 10 until I do...nice buck man. Nice first post too!

Excellent start. Way to go. Great buck. It took me years to start shooting bucks like that. You will have fun trying to top that guy. The deer gods were very good to you. You owe your buddy big time.

thanks for all the comments guys, and yes this was my first time out. currently the deer is at the taxidermist getting mounted. Here is a picture of my friend (who i call "the guide" now) with the deer.
