I learned after 15 odd years of bowhunting that i havent learned very much. I learned that I dont know when to be aggressive and when to lay off. I also learned that some guys use their permanent stand sets as climbers. Like I said, I learned that i haven't learned very much!

I learned that sitting from daylight until dusk in a good spot for several days will eventually pay off. I also learned that if your bow is perfectly tuned and you haverazor sharp Muzzy's you can blast right through the shoulder from inside 20 yds.

That's what makes deer hunting so much fun. If it was predictable it would be boring. ;) If you can figure out how to be in the right place at the right time every year, fill me in please.

I learned of a few new public spots that show promise.

I learned I need to find a spot near school where I can shoot my bow during the week.

I've found out just how much bowhunting my girl will put up with. :D

To trust what I have learned from my past experiences. Sometimes I neglect to do that and keep practicing things that may make more sense at the time. By not doing so most likely cost me a shot at a huge buck this season.

To get out and find some more land to hunt, its getting harder to keep what you have and maybe a better place is the next new place you hunt.
