RE: Shafted by a BT dealer
And just what will you do to rectify this problem? Only thing I'd do (since he's already got his money back via stop payment) is hand deliver the bow to the shop....and verify (eyewitness) that the right man recieved it. Why do you ask? |
RE: Shafted by a BT dealer
ORIGINAL: bigtim6656 your right gundeck but people are more likely to sell something that ant what there selling when your hundreds of miles away just like someone might call you a no good son of a b*itch f the phone but when you come knocking on there door it is a different story |
RE: Shafted by a BT dealer
That sucks I work 15 minutes from this gentlemens shop and have always had great service from him and his crew. Hope it works out for ya. Not that there is anything I can do, but if you can think of something let me know. If this doesn't get settled I'll def. spread the word that this guy is liar and a cheat, word spreads quick around here. Nothing I hate worse than a liar. GOOD LUCK

RE: Shafted by a BT dealer
ORIGINAL: Gundeck If you had bought this at the shop and stepped outside the door with the bow, you would be in the same boat. I think Bowtech is not to blame for this. Yes, they are responsible for who they pick for dealers, but you can't always spot the good from the bad. |
RE: Shafted by a BT dealer
Call bowtech. I dont think they will be happy with that dealer. Besides, they might make it right for you. This is the reason I have not been to a pros shop in over 20 years. With few exceptions, they are blood suckers out for nothing but money.

RE: Shafted by a BT dealer
ORIGINAL: GMMAT I live an hour from there. Stop payment on your check. Send me the bow. I'll drive it over there. PM me if you need my help. That sucks.....and I'm serious. |
RE: Shafted by a BT dealer
Dealers are not allowed to sell Bowtechs over the internet. My dealer told me this. Hoyt is the same way. Dealers cannot sell new or used bows over the internet.

RE: Shafted by a BT dealer
ORIGINAL: Jimimac ORIGINAL: nodog He shouldn't have to promise anything. My point was that I think Bowtec (not to single them out, they all should)can afford to supply it's dealers with whatever it takes for them to sell their product including demo's. The dealer shouldn't be stuck with the bill. If that was the case you can be sure they would be a whole lot pickier with whom they choose to represent them. FWIW don't shop on ebay. |
RE: Shafted by a BT dealer
dude...you got your money back...and you still have a bow! FREE BOW right? use it and love it hahaha
