"God's Great Acre" is a producer, again!

If anyone has followed my plight with my neighbors to the south.....you'll remember they own ONE acre. Last year...they took AT LEAST 4 good bucks off the land "around" whereI hunt. If you believe them......(OK...at least the ones you don't catch taking a dump in your best honey hole after trespassing across AT LEAST 3 properties to get there....
), they do it all from this one great acre of barren, treeless sod with a run-down shack on it.
I JUST had lunch and was talking to the mad dumper's nephew (who's a helluva guy and a darned good bowhunter)....who informed me that they've already taken 3 8 pointers and a 10 pointer THIS year, too.
I found a 1.5 yr old in the woods. Saturday.....dead from a single gunshot.
I don't get it. If I say I saw you kill someone (eyewitness to the crime)....they'd lock you up and throw away the key. Why can't we get these guys for trespassing....or AT LEAST for hunting on parks land that they have NO RIGHT to be on?
I am officially looking for new land to hunt.....although if I do this...."they" win. I won't abandon my hunting lands....but I gotta sleep at night, too. These guys turn my stomach.

That blows Jeff. My bro and I found a tiny fork horn dead on Friday with a gut shot wound, right in front of the hind leg. Our "neighbors" are over a section away, we own 120 acres, they own 570 acres, and we are separated by a section (640 acres) or state land, but we are the only ones who can get onto it. They hunt honest to god not 100 yard from OUR property line! The spots on the other end of the state are awesome, but we don't hunt them out of respect to their property. REally grinds my gears that they do it to us. These problems really cause gray hairs, but I'm at a loss as to what the solution is. You make a very good point about the trespassing vs. killing someone. Not sure why it is so hard to get someone on it. We are putting up trail cams on the road as there are four wheeler tracks, hopefully we can get some video proof.

Usually in a murder, there is supporting evidence i.e. dead body, murder weapon, etc.In a trespassing its normally your word against his.
I feel your pain though.
