You know, squirrel season is in....A load of bird shot should have been put in that azz of his.....A couple of shots in the air, and he would have cr@pped....

I have actually had poachers try to run me off my own land in the past....These guys feel they can lie their way out of a situation and feel that because they are breaking the law, everyone else is as well...

Good Luck busting the guy....I'm over in Randolph County, 6ft 5 and 250 if you need any help, I haven't been in a good fight in a while, it's about time.....:D

all i can think about is wanting to meet these wastes of space in a dark alley and giving them the good ol country a$$ kicking they deserve! my father and i gave up a 150 acre farm for my uncle to hunt, as he had not place to hunt. well, turns out the jacka$$ neighbors were notorious hellraisers and poachers and hated the sight of another hunter near "their farm"(wasn't theirs at all). they were constantly riding four wheelers by his stand and giving him a hard time while in the tree. one of the old men pulled up on his atv and stopped in front of my uncles stand on opening morning of shotgun and chain smoked for like ten minutes without a care. my uncle said it was all he could do to keep his wingmaster at heel! i can't imagine how i would react if this were to happen to me, i am very serious about my hunting and my temper would prob. lead me astray, but it would feel good to put his old a$$ down!

so aggrevating that people are so ignorant and immature, i am currently a senior in law enforcement and am on my way to becoming a conservation officer to crack down on some of the scum that is ruining the experiences for everyone!

Jeff, calling the warden is the best solution, these fellas deserve to be hit hard with fines and revocations!

Jeff,
Trust me when I tell you this. Conservation officers take alot of JOY in catching poachers.
We had a poacher caught by a bowhunter who immediately turned him in. The WCO showed up in SWAT garb ready to rock and roll.
He's still writing citations today. I've never seen him so happy.

I called Chris (GW) as soon as I got home and called a friend or two (my shop owner and one of my taxi friends). He said he was going to the big guy (regional director) and see what they could do (they know this family WELL).

I've done what i can do.

Oh yeah....My mailbox just happend to get busted by a beer bottle on Friday[&:]

Good luck with the warden thing. I hope the ones in your area are better than mine. I've been after "the slob" of my area for 10 years with ZERO progress and next to no cooperation from our DEC. I've got some stories about the yahoo in my area over the years that would make you puke.
nybowhunter,

the local slob that used to hunt our area was turned into the DEC so many times I am not even sure if he was allowed to enter the woods without their permission anymore. Guess what............ he now works for the NYS parks and forest rangers over near Stewart Airport on public hunting grounds. How the hell does this system work?

I guess the NY DEC thinks something like this..

"keep our friends close and enemies closer"

I was threatened with an axe this year by a trespasser, while I held a rifle! We called the county sheriff and he was about as helpful as gasoline on a brush fire. I wanted to file assault charges but he didn't want the paper work. We finally got him to give the man a criminal trespass WARNING! Next time we are calling the game warden.

We have a neighbor we think trespasses and possibly even hunts on our land out of season. My wife saw him on his 4 wheeler on our property one time and he didn't even move.

Here's whatI did to make him think twice.

This land is kind of remote and doesn't have any housing built on it, just raw land. I used to stay withmy friend and his wife, but she got tired of being woken up at 4 am (go figure) and now makes us stay on-site if we hunt mornings. Well, we came into a small, REALLY wildly decorated trailer from her (long long time ago) ex, wholanded in prison for meth. Those druggies had painted that thingevery shade of flourescent you can imagine, wild pictures of bats, dragons, demons, dripping blood, warrior women, etc. We pulled that little trailer up on the land and parked it and use it to sleep there when we hunt mornings. I'm hoping if he trespasses and sees that, he'll think we're lunatics and back off. For good measure, I keep a ziplock bag of baking soda (which I use to brush my teeth and put in my boots (not the same batch)) out on the table in plain view, just for good measure, so he thinks we're hyped up nuts!

GMMAT that is hillarious. Don't even get on his level. Let the warden take care of that fake.
