Default Look what I found in my front yard....

This is crazy, I look out the window and I had to look twice...its a rub...in my front yardIts only about 9 feet off the road...such a wierd spot for one.




This is how close it is to the house...

I did that to a buddy of mine with the back side of a buck knife. 10' inside the gate of his land. He went on and on about that rub.

EDIT: I'm not saying thats what happened to your tree. Actually thats pretty cool having them that close.

I thought it was going to be another huge buck stuck in a concrete lawn ornament! Nice rub! At least you won't have to drag him far.

Its pretty crazy what buck will do when the rut starts to kick in. This fall, at camp, there were 15-20 rubs and 4 scrapes all within 30 yards of one of my cabins. That and I have actually witnessed 160"+ bucks in the camp in broad daylight.

That's cool. In our neighborhood there is a row of trees along the sidewalk that all have rubs on them from this year. They are all about 8 feet off the road.
