Default .410 shotgun bow lol

OK yesterday i was at a gas station talking to a friend about the doe i missed wesnday the guy said this.
Take a arrow shave the Fletch's down alittle take a .410 shotgun take the pellets out and leave only the powder and insert the shell. run the arrow down the barrel and takeaim and fire just like it was a shotgun


i will never try this on a target let alone a live animal but has anyone else heard this or is this a episode for myth busters

hey i ant about to try it ever not unless i was using some kind of shooting cable lol i would like to know if it works though and wonder what the dnr would say lol properly you have the right to remain stupid

Believe it or not....people do that. About 15yrs ago on our farm in WV...some guys got busted by the warden for doing exactly that.

I thought it was only a WV thing... LOL

Technically then it wouldn't be bow hunting, but cross bow hunting without strings lol I would say he is yanking your chain. I cant believe anyone would even try that. Stupid people shouldn't be allowed to breed

it would work... for fun while in the military we'd pull the blank adapters off our guns and shove the cleaning rod in there and fire it, it would drive those little rods 4-5" into a tree... the m16 blanks were awfully quiet too, very little powder in them... the m60 blanks however would drive those rod into the trees and you couldn't see but about an inch sticking out..

We have done it, but you have to use the big wooden shafts. Take the fletching off, boy do those wood arrows penatrate into a old wood shed!
