I actually have that same stand and really like it. Not sure why anyone would leave it though.

A few weeks ago I found a homemade climber 20 yards away from one of my hangers. I wanted to smash it as I know I won't use it, (it's just not safe) but it was right near my hanger so I just carried out the only axcess road and set it under the posted cable.

Looks likemine. I've got the same Gorilla climber hanging on a tree by one of my trails. I've used it maybe three times total. I didn't like the platform straps and then ended up buying a Viper. It's been hanging on the tree unused ever since, almost all season.

Umm ...That's my stand that someone stole from me and obviously hung in your woods. I would like it back. You wouldn't want a receiving stolen property charge on you... would you?

It's a Gorilla isn't it?

I took a stand down I found the last day. A nice ladder stand, disassembled it and sat it at the base of the tree. I knew the only person on the property was my cousin and he uses a Loggy climber...I called him to make sure and several others before I hauled the stand out, turns out it was another cousin of mine.....I told them to apologize to him for me and it's there to rehang but next time tell me and it wouldn't happen. I'm the one that patrols the property and if I don't know about it, I assume it's trespassers. Lessoned learned for him I hope.

one proplem my understanding is that if it does not belong to you it is stealing even if it is on privit land

i would take it to the cops there hold it for two weeks then give it back to you or call them and ask what you can and can not do
