15-25mph too much?

Would you hunt this wind? Temps are falling fast, today....from 56 to about 40, here. Would you hunt it?.....or....wait for it to die down some, tomorrow. I can hunt this afternoon and tomorrow morning.....or tomorrow all day (with a little let up in wind, tomorrow).

GMMAT--I saw the biggest buck of my life two years ago on an afernoon much like you are describing...30MPH winds and the buck was scent checking the downwind side of a bedding area. I was 35 yards off with a broadside shot...I did not shoot b/c of the wind!
So I say yes, do it buddy, hunt today! Stay tight to cover to get tighter shot opportunities.

I would hunt high winds. For some reason and it seems to be against the grain, but bucks seem to move in the wind.
I think everyone needs to re-evaluate thier shot distances in these conditions, but that wouldn't keep me from the hunt!

Find a spot out of the wind if you can. I killed a buck during gun season in 40mph gusts about ten years ago really nice 8 pt. I was going to take my daughter out tomorrow but it's supposed to be in the 30's with the wind. Thinking about setting up a quick ground blind.

Im going out, the temp drop, rain we had, and during the rut, allwill make for an interesting hunt. Just dress for the wind, even though its 45 degs here, with the wind blowing 20mph and no sun will make it feel much much colder.

I just got out of that rain and wind. Since it has started raining the wind has let down here. They're saying it should clear up some this afternoon but still be pretty windy. I know I'll be back out there.
