A kid from Illinois killed an 11 pt that filed dressed at 250. The news was all over it. Maybe you got the states mixed up

Nope im sure this one was out of MN Lacrosse wouldnt go to Ill to do a story that wasnt that local. do you happen to have the article or pics i can tell by looking at it.

I know of 6 out of this area that tiped the scale at over 240 this year alone. The record is over 400+ lb. Heck Ol' mossy shot one out of my camp last year that went over 250! Altho a big deer not uncomon in these parts.
