Thanks guys! As matt said, this is a buck I worked my tail off for. It was definatly a week of hi's and low's and it was great to top off such a roller-coaster of a week with a nice buck like this.
I wont spoil his journal entry by giving away the whole story but I can say that the week consisted of 2 missed does and an encounter with a buck so big that he still haunts me!

The buck that I ended up with is actually a buck that I had seen earlier in the year, about 350yrd from where I eventually took him.While he is a good buck he is by far not the biggest we have running around on my 168 acres. But I can say that I'm tickled pink to have been able to harvest him especially on the last day of our trip!!
I'll do my best to get you details of the hunt later.....boss man is breathing down my neck[8D]

If any of you guys DON'T know Dan's story......let's just say it's amazing.
