Default Reading in the tree

I was curious about how many people read in the stand like I tend to do. I find that this helps me concentrate better because my attention is always at a peak instead of going through a mid-day lull. Usually I just read a page or two and scan around, and I feel like I can do this all day. I usually read horror, steven king, kind of stuff and tonight I was reading IT. About 530 it's completely dark out and usually I have to walk about 200 yards to get back to my stand through hardwoods. I usually don't even break out the flashlight but tonight the book had me on edge. I kept expecting to see something freaky walking around talking to me. Needless to say I had a little hitch to my step this evening. "We all float down here"

So how many of you do read and what kind of stuff are you reading?

I sometimes read, but normally not by choice. 3/4 of the time I have to read some dumb book for school, the other 1/4 I read magazines...no not those kind. But the magazine are sometimes hard to keep quiet.

I tried reading magazines but the pages are way too noisy no matter how hard you try. Whenever I sit on stand all day I take a small paperback to help get me through the middle of the day.

In the stand, I am either hunting, praying or sleeping. I dont' mind catching some Z's for 10 min or so.

I use the internet on my cell phone to read huntingnet.com. It's also useful for checking weather.
But I only do so when I find my self getting restless. I can easily slip my phone in and outof a small pocket on the outside of my hand muff.

Yeah, I read paperbacks all the time while in my stands. I tend to read historical books on real life events the most. I can read and keep my mind and ears in touch with what's going on around me. I also think it helps keep my movement down.

That book"IT" sucked, so did the movie. I thought this thread was on how to read rubs on atree. Well im going to give my input anywaysif the rubsare facing inside the woods they are using that trail at nights to feeding areas and if the rub is facing the fields they are using that in the mornings before going to bed, how true it is I don't know but that is how I read trees.
