Default Rut?

I hunt in the vevy southwest part of oklahoma. The last week or so i've seen way to many does and a few small buck trying to get some action, but none of the does will have anything to do with them. Its been low to mid seventies the last couple of weeks and is soppesed to be low 80's this weekend so nothing will probably happen then. So When do you think the rut will kick in down here?

I would venture to say, possibly the first cool down that you guys get to come in. Most of the time it is truely triggered by weather patterns. At least it is up here. Look at the 7 day outlook for your local weather report on the news and/or internet. Good luck!

Next weekend the highs aregoing to be in the mid to lower sixties so hopefully that will trigger the rut.
