Last night I shot at a Nice 8 pointer.. I dont know what happened but needless to say, It wasn't a lethal Hit.. Here is his picture from this past sunday... Notice the time.. ?? Keep that in Mind.. He came in last evening at 3:15 and offered me a perfect shot.. But I'm not sure what happened.. I think I may have hit a branch... I shot at him with his LEFT side facing me..

dont feel bad it happens to every one. my buddy shot a big ten pointer and tracked for two days. one week later the neighbor shot it and it still had the arrow of my buddies in it. then yesterday he shot a real big 10 or 12 point. we waited two hours. there was blood every were for about 150 yards. then it kind of stopped. looked up and saw him get up about 40 yards. he took of real slow and we backed off for two more hours. Same thing happend. we waited till this morning and we saw him chaising two does. damn tuff deer. so dont feel bad too bad, he is done hunting for the year, and he will be eating back tag.

OH man, you and him have a date!! and he'll even be on time. He'll bring the flowers, you bring the broadhead. lol

Now thats a pattern. He doesn't look to be feeling any ill effects of the shot, but tommorrow around 7:40 you need to finish the job. It would be kind of interesting to see the damaged cause by the intial shot a few days later. I am really curious to see how a should hit like that would start to heal.
