What an Incredible Morning! Two Big Boys Down!
We had one heck of a morning this morning. We connected on two awesome deer. Story coming....
Ty and I finally got settled in after getting all the equipment set up and everything and watched the sun start to peack through the trees. I decided to check my phone to see what time it was and see that i have a text from Shawn that reads "BBD!" Thinking that it was too early i simply responded "Ya right" and quick got a message saying "I'm not kidding!"
I couldnt believe it...it had just gotten light and Shawn already had one on the ground! If only we could have such luck. Ty and i continued to sit there and watched a few does and a young buck (probably a 120" 8) feed to us and be down about 80 yards away. After that, NOTHING till about9. Ty tapped me on the foot and said that he saw some deer coming. We had a couple more nice young bucks head our way and bump the does off their beds and start pushing them around. We are watching them put on a show when i hear a deer walking behind us. I turn and see that it is a pretty good buck and get the camera on him quickly. We decide that he is a shooter and watch him mill around us for 15+ minutes till he followed a doe right under our stand and turned broadside at 15 yards. He took a tightpoint right through the lungs and only ran about 50 yards as we watched him crash!
I turned the camera to Ty to catch his reaction and his post hunt. I then start to pan off as i hear Ty say "Mike, theres another buck...A BIGGER ONE!" I look up and see just a monster main frame 10 pointer with matching kickers on his G2s and G3s. I think this deer would easily go in the 160s. Huge massive rack with long long tines and sweeping main beams. We video him walking around our stand and looking at the down buck while Ty kicks himself in the butt. Don't get me wrong, he is extremely satisfied with his AWESOME deer, but you just hate to have a bigger one come in right after you shoot a buck.
Talk about an awesome morning....the deer are going crazy now!

Damit Hunslinger,do you guys cary 4 leaf clover in your pockets or are you just that dam good? Man talk about some awesome whitetails and the background in the pics. You guys even go to trouble to take excellent pics, i love looking at them, good work guys. Can i come work for you guys
