Saw a buck at around 11am this morning following a doe. Seemed he was ready and she wasn't. I agree with the weekend going to be super hot for some deer action. This frost we had this morning is actually making it feel like hunting season.

Boy, deer are a lot like people aren't they...

Had planned on being in the woods today, but couldn't get off work. I'll be there Saturday and Monday though. I hunt on some private land outside Fredericksburg. Seen lots of deer activity in the mornings this week in Prince William County, but saw almost nothing this morning. But, judging from the increasing number of freshly killed deer on the side of the road, I'd say that they're moving now.

I know that here in Cincinnati, Ohio it's a bit on the slow side right now, but it's starting to pick up. I think, based on what I've seen lastnight, the next 3 or 4 days all sexual hell is going to brake loose in the woods. Good luck though!

Yesterday morning after I killed a doe with a muzzleloader, a 4pt came in nose to the ground following the does. It is picking up pretty slow and I imagine that the next week or 2 will be the peak time to be out.
