Cleaning up for pictures?

This probably isn't my place to be saying anything but i've noticed alot of the pictures of all the animals that have been shot and then posted on here have alot of blood in the pics or tounges hanging out! As far as i'm concerned its no big deal to you and me but when the non hunters or the bunny huggers see these pics andthey really frown on it. One person does it and they think were all bad then! I beleive we have to portray ourselvesthe best we can weather its telling stories or showing our pictures off to a non hunter or anyone! I've heard people comment on pictures when there all gory and bloody, there not good comments! Every year it gets worse i think with some of these pics i see! Being we are on the internet these pics will travel very fast and will be seen by alot of people. Some of you may not agreefrom what i just said but i guess i've been doing my part for the last 20 years i've hunted to make our sport look and sound very clean and ethical. This message isn'taimed at any one person by no means, its just something for everyone including me to think about the next time we take a picture of our deer or any animal we shoot!

i often thought of that....and actually stopped saying "kill" and used "harvested" or "got" instead...but then i got to thinkin...
why sugar coat it?? i KILLED the animal. YES the holes i put through it bled. yep...blood REALLY comes out of the mouth and nose with certain hits. YEP the tounge really DOES hang out...
i clean up for some pictures for the PICTURES purpose...not because i dont want anyone to see the reality of things, i take those pics first...
i wont hesitate to show holes on skinned out deer...i wont hesitate to show what my 22-250 does to a groundhog...
thats reality...why sugar coat things just because "they" are most likely watching? we are hunters...
after doing research all day for my speech tomarrow, im coninced THEY know very little...and they dont have any real strong arguments and LOVE to contradict themselves...
ya, blood and guts and gore isnt things non hunters like to see...but thats reality...this is life...thats my opinion on the topic...
not saying your WRONG..i thought the same way for a while...but in the end, it really doesnt matter...we are hunters..PERIOD..they KNOW what happens....
heck of alot more humane than NATURE. starvation, disease, car accidents, predation etc...all of which they say is "nature taking its course" sure it is...but a bullet or arrow placed through the vitals is alot more humane then getting eaten alive by a pack of yotes!!

I know you weren't singleing me out, but I felt I needed to respond anyway. because I know my pic wasn't all that great. But like I said the bunny huggers as you call them are going to be just as disgusted with the other types of posts mentioned. So do we cater to them on OUR site or do our thing?

Hey ya know i dont want to hear the antis whine just as much as the next guy but come on. This is our way of life, things die due to a loss of blood. That blood has got to go somewhere and somtimes it comes out the nose or some other 'holes'. Im not saying that i wont clean my kill up a little bit but im not gonna bust a nut trying to make it look alive still. Just my 2 cents.

I think you have a valid point . Personally I do not try to please the anti hunting types, but do agree unfortunately that it could be damaging to our sport . I appreciate your input and will keep it in mind .
