"Butt-Out" tool.

Maybe I'm not understanding the concept.

You still have to cut the thing, right? (If you use this tool)

Anybody out there just cut around the whole thing (no pun intended)?

I got one as a joke for card night with the boys but tried it on a doe just for fun. I found it pretty useless and used my knife the next time around.
It should come in the same package as the scrape maker...
The only good thing I found was that being blaze orange I did not have to worry about someone shooting my deer in the Azz...

I'm kinda being serious guys. I guess the premise is you extract the colon....tie it off in two spots and cut in between.

That's the only thing I can think of.

I have always just cut around it, then from the inside cut through the intestine behind the pelvis... when I get back tot he house, I take a sawzall and cut through the pelvis and pull all the rest out.

I'm kinda not,;)

Jeff where you hunt you could probably find something on a "swing set" or "jungle jim" that would do the same thing.

I did what the directions said .. Insert flush and a half a twist or something and pull out. Did not work and I deffinately violated her (the doe) . I see no advantage over a knife but I would try it again. I do leave it in the truck though cause I DO NOT need any more junk in my pack.
