You're in the wrong spot then.. i saw a ten point 3 feet behind the doe sprintint through the woods.. apparently she wasnt gonna stop for him.. then within 20 minutes a decent 8 point came by following and sniffing the entire path.. then another 30 minutes went by and a 4 point came by following the exact trail of the doe again sniffing and going in the same direction... this was on saturday... guarantee ya, if you go out, and youre in a good spot.. youre gonna see em running around quite a bit.. be ready though.. you might have a 4 or 5 second shot and you dont wanna be caught with your pants down... i was, and it cost me a big ten point... keep ur bow ready at all times!!

I have seen the same as most. The buck are chasing, but the doe are running right now. Got a big bruiser that has been looking, but I have seen at least eight different doe run from him.

man all this talk is making me feel like calling out of work. I'm new to bowhunting and love it already, ready to sell the shotgun..I have had doesand bucks run by just out of range.I havent used any scent just yet. should i? i mean they are just out of range only about 45yards from my stand.. i have VS-1 and something calledbomb something forgot the name. what do u guys think?

Nothing here in Chemung county yet. Havnt even seen the bucks chasing does. They are still separated. Hope it kicks in soon, I have a doe tag to fill yet.

it depends on the area. I havent seen any hard chasing going on, but 30 minutes away my friend has. I had 4 bucks two days ago just cruising around. I hope tommorrow will kick thinks of here on LI. supposed to get colder than its been
