Congrats on your first deer. Now it will be easier. And they will come more often now. I, too, hunt on the ground and it makes it even more special. Good job!

I was in a tree stand. Guess i should have made the title different. Although i might have to try hunting from the ground sometime.

Congrats on your first. A Button buck was the very first deer I shot(yrs ago)with a shotgun. It was the only deer I took with a shotgun......I bought a Bow and never went back!

ATTA BOY..Sure does feel good to put your hands on a deer don't it!! Just so you know, BB's make really good eating..
Get the hide tanned. It makes a really cool $30 trophy.
