Default Worth hunting??

Well now that daylight savings time ends, it gets dark around 535 in southern wisconsin. I get out of school at 3 so i wouldget in thw woods would be 4. Is an hour and half worth hunting. I think it is especially during the rut.

I always believed the last hour of daylight was prime time. I would just be as quiet and unobtrusiveas you can going in.

I have some "late stands" that I go to in situations like yours. Stands that I have minimal chances of coming across and jumping deer. If that's your only way to get in the woods then I say go for it. The alternative is not very good. I would be careful on which stands you choose to hunt though. IMO you don't want to go to a stand where you have a chance of running into the whole herd in your area [:-].

I agree with all the above. Absolutely you should get out and give it a shot. Not going to kill one at home on the couch. Get out there as soon as you can and maybe don't go in as far as you normally would. The deer should be up and moving and getting ready to feed. Be careful and try not to run into them headon as you go to your stand site. Good luck.
