Sorry to hear about that man. Hopefully he gave you some clues to his whereabouts and bedded down not too far from the last sighting. Good luck finding him!

Well good news, I guess GregH's good luck vibes worked. We found him about 120 yards dead right at the creek in a thicket where he was headed. Shot was a little far back as I thought, and was indeed a gut shot. Found one of the little tree stick things where the braodhead hit sliced which deflected my arrow a bit, never saw them when I shot as was getting dark, only about 1" in diameter but tall. We found good blood about 20 yards from the shot. He's a main frame 10, maybe 2.5 or 3.5 year old, not huge, 120" - 130"but hes perfectly symetical and Im proud of him. I'll get some pics up this evening. I shot a Doe this moning, another buddy shot a big 8, so we have some work still left to do. Thnx for all the support and input, thats why I love this web site, great bunch of guys and gals.

Alright , way to go Diesel, congrats on a great buck! We got held up a little bit getting on the road, now I dont have to wonder if ya recovered him or not.
