what is the differnce between a typical and non typical deer

I got this right from the Boone And Crockett page.


"Abnormal points are those non-typical in location (such as points originating from a point or from the bottom or sides of the main beam) or extra points beyond the normal pattern of points.

That pretty much sum's it up.

and the way they determine when they put it in the books if the deer is a typical or a non typical is whichever way it would have the higher score
