Not directed toward you at all. Sorry bout the misunderstanding. But I agree with you 100%.
I think "if it's brown, it's down" is a Minnesota concept. And all my neighbors bang away at anything, but I also pass on young bucks.

I'm not sure if you are directing this question at me... I don't mind one bit if someone shoots a small buck, big or little doe, or a fawn. It is their own choice, and if it's legal i won't put up a fuss about it.
I do hunt next to neighbors that kill everything in sight, but i still let the small bucks go cause there is still a chance they wil make it to next year. Again i'm not telling anyone to do anything

What would you do if: Peak rut was during rifle season, and you knew your neibors would kill anything brown?
I'm curious to know why you care how I hunt MY woods and what I shoot. I'm hunting for myself, not anyone else who is trying to force QDM or any other management plan on me. I (I should say we, my dad and uncles and I) manage my property as we see fit and shoot what WE want to. Thanks.

Ya know....that just reminded me....
I DO want a doe mount, and I may just hunt for a buck OR a doe to do just that with, from here on out.
Thanks for the reminder!.....and I WILL be proud of either.

You know pine ridge when the sleeping bear Atlasman awakens he is going to quote slap you into next week
I for one love to shoot big bucks, but I also love to take part at being a Conversationalist, you should try it.

I get sick and tired hearing this crap about guys killing a "BIG DOE". What would you rather kill, a nice 10 point buck that scores 150 or better points or a "BIG DOE"? I realize alot of hunters are meat hunter and prefer to kill a "BIG DOE" but how many hunters out there will sit through countless hours inorder to pass on "BIG DOES", Spike and 6 pointers to have a shot to harvest a mature Boonie?

Just look at the poll when we are done arguing. I'm just stating that I DON'T SHOOT "BIG DOES" (whatever a BIG DOE is). You can shoot whatever-the-hell you want to.

I happened to be browsing this forum and saw this post. I felt compelled to sign up and respond just to tell you what a complete douche bag you are! You are an embarassment to hunters everywhere. Pull your head out and learn some game management. What a tool!
