I know that hunting all day during the rut can be a good way to get a buck. I was wondering if it would be a good time to hunt all day right now during the pre rut. Or would i just be wasting my time. I'm definatly not an expert on deer and i don't get to hunt a whole lot so i don't know a lot. Trying to learn all i can. Thanks.

The next 14 days are the absolute BEST for sitting all day. I sat all day last saturday and sunday, and beginning this Friday will be doing the same thing for the next 10 days, or BBD, whichever is first.

Sitting all day requires some endurance, it's not easy. If you find yourself really tired, sleep in till 8 one day, head to the stand at 9, and finish the day there.

Your in missouri, the "pre rut" has turnedintorut. It's time to hunt as much as youcanand still enjoy it. All day hunts are a bear.

I pulled an all day sit last year and saw two deer all day....the last deer I saw was a 160" 10pt. that I shot....3 in the afternoon........Hunt all day.....
