That is an awsome buck Greg. I knew you would find him
Man that thing is a pig.
You most likely found him because you backed out right away and gave him plenty of time.
There is a lot for everyone to learnfrom your experience.
Greg you handled it like the true professional you are.
Congrats again on a fine hunt and great recovery.

Gorgeous buck Greg, simply amazing buck!. Congratulations and again, thanks for sharing real world archery scenerios and sharing your knowledge of what to do after the shot. It shows experience of your property and patience wins over over zealous tracking.
Fantastic animal and waiting could very well have been the difference in a successful recovery and what could have been.
One thing I wonder.....do you just unwrap your Treebark shirt from a vacuumed sealed bag every year for pictures. It just looks too good to appear "used"..lol [8D]
Congrats again. Incredible buck, great story.

Thanks Guys, I'm very proud of this buck. I did what I thought it would take to ensure his recovery.
It's a 10 point, 5x4 with a sticker on the left g-2. I found him 125 yards from where I made the shot. No stomach or liver, just spleen and tip of 1 lung lobe.
Here's a pic with me posing like someone we all know!
