Default Where are they??

I have not seen a deer, from my stand(s), in THREE weeks!!! I can not figure it out!!! I was out yesterday thinking that maybe with the cool temps, it may trigger some chasing....but NOTHING!!! Is anyone else having the same problem?? I know it is early as far as the rut goes, but I thought I would be seeing more deer by now!! Just venting I guess.......[:@][:@]

You don't continually hunt the same stand do you? Pay attention to the wind, all that good stuff?

I thought aliens had sucked up every deer on our property. I hunted all the usual spots where the acorns fall and the deer travel to and from bedding areas and I was seeing zippo. I hunted 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday and saw a grand total of 1 deer. My cousin's kid comes down after school climbs a tree and sees 7 different bucks and a bunch of does. Arrows an 8 pointer with a 16" spread. He was hunting near a dried up duck pond where something was growing that the deer loved. If you have an alternate food source nearby that may have just sprouted up, I would definitely check into it. Where there is food there are does, where there are does there are bucks.

No. I have 4 different stands, and I ALWAYS check the wind.

Funny how things work out.......I went out the evening of 10/30, and shot a very nice 10 pt. My muzzy laid the smack down on him!!! I shot him approx 12 yds from the stand, he ran +/- 35 yds and I watched him go down!!! I will have to get my wife to post pics for me. I have no clue how to post them myself. I have seen a lot of posts saying that the bucks are moving....I totally agree. I grunted and bleated at different times during the night, and I am convinced that is what brought him in.
