I know for a fact this is a fair chase deer.As for the photoshop NO. Heis the real deal. The fellow who shot this buck is a good friend of a hunting buddy of mine.I was almost sad to see pictures of it on the net. One reason being our area doesn't need any more publicity! Second, you always have the guys on here that can't accept someone shot a great deer. Congrats to him.

IT'S REAL.....My hands have been on this incredible whitetail. This "idgit" is a very good friend of mine and some of you people need to grow up just a tad with your 'commits'. Believe me...if you knew this guy all of your jealous notions would not exist! He is A-1 top notch and way into big whitetails. This is the 1st buck that he has killed since 1994.

He is a guide in IA and a very successful one at that!! A client of his actually had a crack at this buck and hit it in the hind leg. How many people are going to give someoneelse a crack at a 200+ whitetail that you know is on the farms by the 20-30 trailcam photos?? I'm guessing very, very few. My friend does not get the chance to hunt like most of us as he is constantly striving for everyone to have a quality hunt with him. The weeklong early MZ seasonis resident only and he was in a stand in a driving rainstorm when he killed this incredible buck.....most of us would have been looking outside whining about the weather situation when this thing stepped out. I know...I was in the house wondering if it was ever going to stop raining!!!

The deer is real....so enjoy. It's a truely magnificent whitetail! It's more about the animal anyways, so I'm not sure why there are all the "commits" about the hunter. Trust me...he's no idgit!

If you don't like how the photos were taken, please send an email to outdoor writer Bill Winke. He's the one that took them and, in my opinion, they are topnotch!

Forgot... Gross 212 net 205 nontypical

A 200" deer is a 200" deer but I agree, it's deceiving the way he's holding it...it wasn't necessary...

WOW what a buck tho.

What makes this deer a non-typical? Other than I don't typically see anything half this size in the woods.
Seroiusly. I'm not exactly surewhat makes a deer typical or non typical

btomlin: i knew someone would eventually say that they have seen this buck. i was emailed those pics from someone very reliable, so i didnt think they were fake.

some people just can't handle someone else shooting a monster like this. they immediately wanna prove it wrong.

i feel really good for this guy, cause i know that guides dont get alot of time to hunt.
