No Deer Need

Have I just started hunting a new area, it is a creek that has tons of trails & rub marks. The first night I was there I saw a buck, Since then I have not seen one deer. I go around 4:00 in the afternoon & have a tree stand up I have probably been 5 times since I saw the buck. I can hear stuff moving I just cant get anything close to me. . Is there anything I can do to get a deer close

There are no trees to move it to

I have been within five yards of turkeys in the past. No stands, no blinds, just me and my camo. It is possible, you just have to put the skills to use.
