I went out sat. evening hunt at 4p.m. put down some legal hunting feed and at 4:30 p.m. saw a doe and her baby this years so I passed on them, to my back side at 5p.m. I herd a sound, I huged my tree and looked to my right side and here she come BIG DOE comming right to the food I put down she looked like she was 160 lbs I looked to see if that was the one with the baby, no baby.
She was comming to my bad wind side were she could smill me but she keeped looking up at me up her noise up but just kepted comming wanted that smell of food on the stump,,I thought Ill let her hit the big tree before she gets to the clearing to pull back she did I pulled back made sure my level and everything was just right 20 yards, I let her get 4 feet away from the stump were the food was then I sounded the sound ma ma she stoped and I let it fly, saw my arrow in her side, thought I was going to fall overor throw up, I called to my sister in law what should I do..LOL just in shock after we gathered my brother and sister in law we started to track her at 6 p.m. blood all over right from I shot her 75 yards there she was.Big ONE.
I only have been hunting archery for 3 years and I no it is the hardest thing to do to get them in for that purfect shoot.
Comming home from this hunt we saw lots of bucks chacing does at less 3 bucks on the side of the road with all kinds of does rutt is on.
