Default Moved my treestand [UPDATED 10/29]

so tonight i went out and picked up my Treestand and moved it to another spot where this deertrail looks like a 4 lane highway so im hoping to get a doe here.
Do you think it was a wise move??

Default RE: Moved my treestand

Tonight i went out and hunted it, i saw one deer on the way in idk why it spooked but it did, i was walking like 5-10 paces then stop for a couple seconds then continue, since i was in no real hurry. I got there. got setup and sat... JUST before dark i saw a flash of white at the top/higher spot on the hill. A doe, perfect! now i can fill my doe tag!! YES! ....... no. Haha i forgot to cut a larger shooting lane when i went in, and she stood in this spot that i could have shot but it wasnt were i expected the deer to be... then she nibbled around, walked but away from me down over the ridge, and i diddnt see her again, i was watching that direction when i heard something behind me, its now Dark Thrity... and my hunting partner is a no show and i turn around and look around for the source of the noise its too damn dark i cant see anything and i guess the deer could haha cause it did about 110 up the mountain haha anyhow im not sure when i can get back out but when i can you'll know it.
