Lots of rain here, temps not too bad but could be a little cooler. I went out yesterday morning and it poured down rain while in the stand. I was hesitant but took a nice doe at 15 yards. She didn't go far(40 yards). We need a good killing frost to take the leaves off the trees here. Visibility in the woods is very limited yet.

I was lucky here in NC, that front just moved out last night after 3 days of rain which we needed really bad. It was foggy and everything was dripping water but it was a nice hunt. Saw two groups of deer but no shooters.

Just talked to my dad who lives in Monmouth County, NJ and said its not worth going out at all today. Poor guy has barely been able to get out this season. A 3 day soaking downpour just stopped here in Maryland so I plan on taking advantage of the last day of muzzleloader doe only season.

I know one thing..... You're not gonna kill one sitting in front of the computer or on the couch. Rain, snow, or shine you better get out there when you can. It was 82 degrees with 25 - 35 MPH winds when I killed my 10 point last Sat. And to think, I ALMOST didn't go out (because of the weather). Guys it only takes 30 seconds to make your season. Get out there everytime you can.
